This double bedroom short stay cottage is ideally located for those needing easy access to the train station and Eastbourne town centre.  

Secret Garden is well equipped, nicely furnished and sleeps up to two people in the one double bedroom.  This is an adults-only property.

The cottage is charming and is located in a wonderful enclosed garden which is less than a 10 minute walk to the train station.   Despite being so close to the centre, you feel you’ve stepped into a complete sanctuary.  Whether you want a relaxing break or you are here to work, it provides a perfect retreat.

Ideal for couples visiting Eastbourne

There is a light, open sitting room, with a sofa and an informal dining table (which doubles as a handy console for a laptop). 

There is a compact, but practical kitchen overlooking the gardens. With washer, separate dryer, oven, hob, coffee machine, microwave, kettle and useful selection of pans and utensils for self-catering.

The practical bathroom has a bath with shower over, for great flexibility.  The bedroom has a double bed and good natural light.

Outside, a small table and chairs provide a space for al fresco dining, where you can enjoy the views of the delightful gardens surrounding your bijou cottage.

All linen and regular towels are provided (bring your own beach towels), with hotel-style toiletries, together with enough milk, tea and coffee for welcome drinks. WiFi is provided, and free parking is available in the adjacent lane.  Smoking is not permitted either inside the short stay cottage or outside in the garden.

A small dog may be considered if neutered and well behaved – it must be sociable with other dogs as the owners who live in the adjacent property also have a dog and you need to walk through the main garden to reach your cottage.

Rental information

Bookings are usually for a minimum of a week, although shorter stays may be possible out of season or last minute. The costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee, a dog fee (if applicable) and a returnable £200 security / damage deposit (will be higher for stays of three weeks or more).
